We attend the lessons in a theatre: we were over 30 children of different ages. There was the possibility to be in the same class with 4-5-year older students. There was always chaos. To get the discipline, the teacher beat us with a willow branch. We had a ruled notebook, a squared notebook, a pencil and a nib, but for a large family it was too expensive. |
The school was beautiful, but there was a strict discipline. From the age of three to six, we were offered the kindergarten, but there was also the day nursery. The lessons were held from eight o’clock in the morning to midday and then from 1:30 p.m. to four o'clock. Crespi family paid all the expenses, the books and the notebooks. Daria Bacis |
